Mobile Command Center Application

Mobile Command Centers use Janus POTSwaps
for their Cellular Communication

Mobile Command Centers are specially designed vehicles deployed by authorities during emergencies. They serve as the communication hub for any emergency response during natural or man-made disasters. Communication is central to the mission of any deployed mobile command center.

Specialty vehicles used as mobile command centers incorporate control consoles that often include standard telephone handsets for added remote location communications, supplementing other communication equipment.  These telephone handsets are generally used by mobile command personnel for coordination of efforts. Unfortunately, POTS (plain old telephone service) lines cannot be made available to these vehicles in their remote locations as POTS service is expensive, unreliable and totally unsuited for short-term remote location applications.

The Janus POTSwap solves the Mobile Command Center dilemma quickly, easily and inexpensively.  The truck or van console telephone handset is simply plugged into the POTSwap via its standard RJ-11 port. Install antennas and plug in power and the POTSwap is ready to make telephone calls over the cellular network of your choice.

Janus has cellular plans available from the major carriers to support any installation.  POTSwap hardware promotions and upgrade specials are available now to make it easier than ever to upgrade emergency and remote telephone equipment.

And the POTSwap beat goes on…and on…and on!
